Last week former Space Shuttle astronaut Dr. Dan Barry signed on as an “Obamanaut” after moderating a panel at the International Symposium for Personal and Commercial Spaceflight.
This week, Apollo astronaut Rusty Schweickart, founder and past president of the Association of Space Explorers (ASE), and former Space Shuttle astronaut Dr. Kathy Thornton, have joined the “Obamanauts” to show their support for Sen. Barack Obama’s space policies.
