I hope Obama will back up his commitment. Bush promised the Moon, literally. Then failed to follow through and left the program, and Central Florida, adrift and abandoned. McCain is so much like Bush I don’t trust him either.
Space States such as Virginia and California should follow the Florida example to get the presidential candidates focused on commercial space policy. Wherever there is a licensed commercial spaceport there needs to be a political effort like this.
